Cyclone Wins at Stocksbridge

Over the past winter, the Nitroflight Challenge was held at the Stocksbridge RC Club, just outside of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. The race attracts a lot of the top “northern” racers due to the large track layout and professional organisation.

There were 6 rounds of the series with 4 to count to the overall result. With a total of 102 racers entered over the course of the series, it proved to be ultra competitive.
The Pro-Stock Touring class was dominated by Jonathan Aird who won every round he competed in, taking a maximum points score of 400. His HB Cyclone TC performed faultlessly at every meeting, with exceptional reliability and great handling.

The top 3 at the end of the series were:

1. Jonathan Aird - HB Cyclone TC
2. Adam Howe
3. Ian Richardson

Hopefully the team can take their recent good form to the Union Square Grand Prix in Scotland, which is the last big indoor race before the nationals start.
