Cyclone D4 WCE Wins Big at Yatabe!
Total victory for the Cyclone D4 WCE at the 2008 Yatabe Arena International Off-Road Grand-Prix!
The 2008 Yatabe Arena International Off-Road Grand-Prix was held at the Yatabe Arena in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, on 9th and 10th of February. Team HB off-road racers participated in the event with the new Cyclone D4 WCE. Among the many world and national champions who participated in the race event, 2007-8 IFMAR World Champion Hayato Matsuzaki was a focus of attention because this was his first race event since his announcement that he will become a professional, full-time RC racer.
Winning three of four rounds in both the 2WD and 4WD classes, Hayato Matsuzaki won a total victory in his first race event as a pro RC racer! Also with this victory, the Cyclone D4 wins another major event!
* The Shuffled Head-up System was used in this race event. In this system, first place in each race earns 1 point, second place earns 2 points, etc., so the driver with the least total point wins the event. There were a total of 4 rounds each in 2WD and 4WD (8 rounds in total). The points in 6 rounds of the 8 rounds are to be counted, with the 2 highest scores not counted.
