Jefferies Continues on Winning Form

Olly Jefferies continued his dream start as a Hot Bodies / Orion driver taking FTD and the A final win at round one of the CML Carpet Masters.

Olly made a steady start as he dialed in his Cyclone to the Stafford carpet track and in the final round of qualifying stole FTD from local Stafford driver Andy Robson.

In the first final Olly made a mistake early on and struggled to make up the lost time to Andy Robson, Andy took the first A final and left Olly having to win the second A final to take the overall victory. The second final was a close fought affair with Andy all over Olly for the whole race but Olly held on and took the win and the overall victory.

Olly has now taken FTD at the first round of every major carpet meeting so far this winter, he kicked off with FTD and an A final win at round one of the Carpet Thrashnals, The British Indoor Winter series also saw Olly on pole for the A final and now FTD and an A final win at the CML Carpet Masters.

“Since getting my Cyclone I have been concentrating on carpet racing in preparation for the forthcoming GP Carpet World Cup in Geneva at the end of the month, the car feels really good on carpet and easy to tune, I am also feeling more comfortable with every meeting with the new car and really looking forward to the Geneva meeting”
