HB 4WD Buggy gets TQ & First at World's Warm-Up!
Hot Bodies is entering the hugely competitive electric 4WD buggy class, one of the most prestigious racing classes in the world of radio control! Hot Bodies engineers, racers and designers have been working on development of a 4WD buggy to debut in the spring of 2007! The as-yet-unnamed buggy features track-tested durability, suspension design, easy maintenance and an incomparable level of style, quality and design!
The ultra-secret buggy project has has been tearing up test tracks around the world for several months, and we are extremely proud to announce that it has received its highest honours yet!
HB racer Hayato Matsuzaki TQ'd and won the very prestigious Off-Road Worlds Warm-Up race recently in Japan! This race featured the world's top off-road racers and showcases the talent that only a top race can bring out! Also racing at the Off-Road Worlds Warm-Up was Daisuke Yoshioka, normally an on-road racer (he reached the podium at the 2004 IFMAR 1/12th Worlds), who finished third overall!
Matsuzaki and Yoshioka also finished 1st and 3rd at the very important JMRCA Off-Road Nationals, not long before the Worlds Warm-Up race! Matsuzaki TQ'd this event as well, making it a clean sweep of the top races in Asia! Both events feature the cream of the crop in off-road racing, and for a prototype buggy to TQ and win BOTH events is something special! |

Hot Bodies drivers at both races talked to many racers who were very interested in the new buggy, and Team HB has a very strong line-up for the 2007 IFMAR Off-Road Worlds! With the dynamic design, ease of maintenance and strong performance of this new 4WD, another World Championship in 2007 win looks promising!
This exciting news is proof that Hot Bodies is determined to become the number one RC racing brand worldwide! 4WD off-road buggy is THE premiere racing class for electric off-road racers, because it is fast-paced, furious and high-flying! 4WD off-road showcases the most aggressive and strongest drivetrain, electrics and suspension technology in electric racing! With Hot Bodies entering this extremely competitive branch of racing, the competition will be fierce!
We'll have more information and pictures featuring the new buggy (which does not have a name yet) as development continues - currently, each car features hand-made prototype parts and special construction methods which prevents us from showing any of the cars without their bodyshells on! The design of the car is complete - winning two huge off-road races isn't done by coincidence! - the suspension geometry and all the measurements on the car are finalised, however we don't have final production-ready pictures to show you just yet. As soon as we can, we will show complete chassis pictures of the buggy! |
